All About Pocket Knives

I have been asked about these knives in another forum. They are Remington-tang stamped and boxed, and made in Germany. Stag handles. Purchased about ten years ago. Nice looking. Anyone know anything about them? First time I ever saw them. Any value?

the center lockblade looks to be of Puma manufacture, not sure on the other two, german eye, hen and rooster, bulldog??

Goins does mention Remingtons that come out of Germany as being authorized repros. Actually, I was under the impression that the German versions were not authorized but that just shows how much I know. I am betting that these are authorized. As to value, I suspect you will need to look around Ebay and see what they sell for or maybe just run one and see what happens.

Yes, MM, I have seen Puma knives close to the lockback.

I have a couple of seasons of the series on on DVD, fun to watch. See all the old stars who guested on the series. Paladin was a complicated character, and was one of the first real adult westerns. Richard Boone was a very accomplished actor. For you guys to young to recall the show...

I didn't know you were such a fan Phil. It was a great show, and he played it perfectly, IMO.
When I was a young lad, I met Mr. Boone at a restaurant in Southern California, and he gave me a card from the show (he had a couple of them with him). I know it is tucked away with some memorabilia and such. It wasn't where I first thought it might be, but if I can find it, I'll post a picture.
