Thanksgiving project

We had a quiet Thanksgiving, the grandkids did not show up until this evening.
I had bought this little Gerber FS-1 from Scott (TripleF) on ebay with a lot of pocket dings and broken rosewood inlays.
I decided I would replace the wood with some thin slices of water buffalo horn.
The project was far easier than I thought it would be, a nice afternoon project.
Here are the before pics as Scott posted them on ebay:
I will probably do some more finish work on it, but I have carried it today and really like it, and it fits nice and flat in the watch pocket of my jeans. It is not without a few flaws & I will probably do a higher polished finish on it eventually, but it is a nice working tool, and enjoyable to use.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
