Snowy River and Scandi Trekker

I was lucky enough to receive a few for my birthday.
First up is a remake of one of Bark River's favorite all around workers, the Snowy River, but out of a super steel, Elmax. The handle really blows my mind. It's a pine cone encased in resin. It's about 8.125'' overall with a 4.125" blade.
'
The second is the TOPS Scandi Trekker. This is one of those that just melt in your hand. I fell in love as sooon as I gripped it. It's hair popping sharp 1095 blade that's tumble finish with modified scandi grind and Green Canvas Micarta handle scales. It's 7-5/8ths with 3-5/8ths blade. Do yourself a favor and try one.

Wow, the Snowy River is a fabulous looking knife. Is the handle completely smooth or does is have some texture? Beautiful color composition in the picture as well, to show off the knife.
And Happy Birthday...cheers

Found the ones overexposed to show the texture. It's not enough to catch your nail but it's there.
