All About Pocket Knives

Man,I'm really liking these Old Winchesters!!....The 2 blade Congress I don't have yet,it was shipped this morning.

The Gunstock is a 1979 Taylor Cutlery Bear Creek,Kingsport Tenn..I'm thinking about doing a rehandle on it..maybe some stag.

I especially like that one second from the bottom...what's that pattern called? Would it be a stiletto?

Those are great looking Johnnie, those bone handled Winchesters are fantastic!!!

I especially like the 2 bladed congress with dimpled bolsters..

Ya'll are right, Winchester calls them fishtail or bowtie.
Those are beautiful knives guy.
Heres a couple of my favs i've got recently.
The Winchester Genuine Bone Toothpick pattern, 4 1/8" closed, with the RARE arc pattern stamping. There were only 600 produced with this arc pattern stamping.
This knife is pattern stamped with 1924 (in the arc font) '87 (the year of manufacture-1987) on the rear tang of the blade.
The scales are actually antique age Genuine Bone that Charlie Dorton acquired from the Utica Knife Factory.
The other is a Stag Split Backspring Whittler.

Hey,Tank I really like the stag on that 97..Ive got a 1994 2 blade with burnt orange handles coming in the mail.Its one of the cartridge series.I'll post some pics when it gets here...Do you or anyone else know of a good price guide for these Winchesters?..I can't seem to find one!!

John I don't know of a good price guide, sorry. I called Buzz Parker on my toothpick, he told me it booked $350... don't know which book. I did see another for sale for $225 so I guess $350 book might be accurate.

That's a Wharcliffe blade IMO, johnnierotten. A Hawbaker is a long sheepfoot, and is usually referred to being a Hawbaker only when it is in a Muskrat.
