Nice knives Jim!
Always really liked those Lone Wolf T1s. Actually like just about everything Lone Wolf does. Still want to get myself a Loveless City Knife one day.
Saving up to buy a nice stag knife from some guy I met on the internet right now, though!

I have some more Spydies. I like the ease of opening them with the hole. Nice collection guys. I like the Delica as it is just the right size for me and I use it mostly in the kitchen. The one I carry has a plain blade of AUS-8A ss. It is razor sharp too. Hard to beat a Spydie. It has an FRN handle too and clip.

Great idea, Non-Assisted Opener thread.
Here is an Al Mar from the later1980's. IIRC.
It is called the Quicksilver. Al even designed a special sheath to carry this. The sheath was surprisingly effective, as long as you kept the clip tight, which was not usually a problem.
As you can see, I EDCed this knife for several years, even though it was #43/200. This is a knife that begs to be used. My son carried it quite a bit also, without my permission I might add.

A few weeks ago Bill suggested the Spyderco Native after I a post I made inquiring about knives with CPM S30V steel. I bought one for myself and my son and it's a great knife for the price, under $40.00. As far as I'm concerned this steel is top notch, should be, it's one of the super alloys, pain in the rear to work with, but edge retention is fantastic!

I like the
Spyderco Native a lot. It took a lot to lose that good edge. For those that are not proficient with a stone, I reccomend a Lansky or similar systen to control the blade angle while sharpening. It's a tough steel because of that 4% Vandium so it can take a while to get that thing hair poppin sharp, that is the only PIA about the knife and it is purely because of the steel. The trade-off, it will keep that edge for a long time and that is also a trait of this steel. THAT, is exactly what I want in my knives. It sees some carry time, for sure.
Excellent recommendation for an inexpensive knife with top grade steel. If that is what you are looking for, this knife would be hard to beat.
