GEC Misrepresentation?

I am unaware of this knife in the 1st run 2006 #23. " River Valley Green Tidioute." The seller has 3 or 4 for sale and says it has a "2006" tang stamp. Is this another Primitive Bone thing where the 2006 blades carry over to the 2007 handles, or do I need to enlighten the seller?

It is a transition knife using the left over blades from 2006. They should also have a 2007 above the 2006 tang stamp. I have one in the mail.

OK Hukk, I wanted to be sure before I ordered, or came down on him either way!

Thanks, Smoke

GEC is still a small company and needs to use all built up inventory. Here is a link to Cumberland Knife Works, Bill Horn's (mint set man) site.

It is the top knife.

No, wish I did. I did hear the target for the transition River Valley Green and Primitive Bone 2006/2007 tang stamps was 186 pieces. How accurate that is I have no idea.
