This is the description of the knife the winner will receive :

The box isn’t the correct number but it is a Robeson. Lot’s of things were misplaced in the move so if I find it I’ll pass it along. The knife is brand new; never carried, used or sharpened. Best of luck to all.

You will have until the end of the day on September 29 (11:59 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on September 30. The Individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play. The winner will be sent a PM after the drawing and will have 10 days to respond with your name and address, if you do not respond within the allotted time the knife will be given to the next closest winner on the list without going over.

Thanks to Anthony (Tank) for the generous donation. Gonna have a struggle with whether to carry it or put it up, since I always carry a large stockman, but don't really collect them. This one may be the exception! Looking forward to getting it in hand. Thanks AAPK!

Edit: My wife reminded me that about 25 years ago I won 100 silver dollars (Susan B. Anthony variety) at a watermelon seed spitting contest. Had to tell her that wasn't luck, it was skill!

I guess that blows that unlucky 13 theory out of the water. Here's a suggestion, Ken. Since you can't carry them all, how about you put it up by making a little shrine to your good fortune. Something like "The First Thing I Ever Won."
