I found an interesting knife at a second hand store yesterday.
It still has a factory edge & sheath that is in very good condition.

Does anyone know when this knife was made approximately?

Thanks,
Dale

I also found one just like it but didn't know the worth so I didn't pull the trigger.

Hm...
Reminds me of a German(?) knife a saw many years ago...::hmm::

I really don't know, but there's something sixties about it...

Wow, three years later someone answers that post!
That is what I love about AAPK, eventually someone will answer post.
Since I posted that (and forgot about it) I have found out some info.

Below is an Imperial ad flyer circa 1973 for this same knife.
I believe there was at least one other knife in the Pro Guide series that I have seen or seen pics of.

Froggy, you were pretty close on that sixties comment! ::tu::

Is this the knife you are referring to?I got both of these back in the 70's.Although they appear to be identical, one is marked Pro Hunter while the other is marked Wildcat Skinner and the both have the identical cat's face in the center. They are huge folders but surprisingly light.
