Hey gang, knife addict from Melbourne, Australia here (newbie). Got my first folder from my Dad at age 8 or 10 (I think) and it's been downhill ever since.
I've collected mainly hunting knives (fixed and folder) and love old Schrades and Bucks. I've got a big old, slightly trashed 1250 I'm going to use as a first project so I'd appreciate some feedback - from what I read you're a talented lot !
I originally come from Ottawa, Canada and my other interests are Guitars (Fender Telecasters to be specific !) Country music, Fishing, Hunting and Backpacking.
Look forward to any replies, Chuckwagon.

G'day, Mate...
Looking forward to having you in the Club. There IS a lot of talent here. Not me, unfortunately, though. I just sort of hang out in here and envy the work that they do.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hi Chuckwagon!
Welcome to the site. Glad to have you on board. I too am a Fender fan. I am into the strat though, with the 1965 Blackface twin reverb and a pedal for distortion. What do you play the tele through, ampwise?

Sorry to have not replied earlier guys, been busy. Still have to get my Schrade to Muskrat man. He's going to repair my big 1250. I hope he's still interested !
Tiny Toothpick - Fender addict here. I also hang out at the TDPRI. I'm a fairly sick Tele addict as well. I like Fender amps, too. But, at the moment, I'm running a new Marshall TSL. Sounds great ! And loud !
Stancaiman - (hope I got that right) - not many custom folder makers that I know of, but that's because I'm fairly new to the scene. I get to the annual
Knife guild show here in Melbourne and have noticed a few folders. Just can't remember any of the maker's names. The more popular folders here seem to be the Schrades and Bucks - I guess they're the most available. And the old SAK makes a healthy showing as well. I think the old Joseph Rogers (which was an old English firm) used to be quite popular a while back - especially the old Bunny knife.
Many thanks for all the welcomes guys ! Regards from Oz !
