All About Pocket Knives

I see a few Case loom fixers with what looks like lanyard holes in the handle. None of mine have that. Is that a modification someone has done or was it an actual variation?

If it was a factory variation, then it was special order only (like the ones with bails). That one looks like a home made job.

That's some pretty rough hack work in that example. Too bad.
