All About Pocket Knives

Recently made a family road trip to a longtime favorite barbecue joint, Clark's Outpost in Tioga, TX. Famous for its BBQ, but also for its delicious meringue pies, it looks like a place you probably wouldn't stop at if you didn't know better. After feasting on the BBQ and dessert, as the waitress was clearing some of the plates from the table my 10 year old grandson asked her "who makes your pies?" She replied "I do. I don't normally wait tables but we're short-handed today so I'm helping out." To which grandson, figuring anyone that can cook like that would be a real prize, replied "will you marry me?" The waitress laughed and said "Thank you for the offer sugar, but I'm married already. In fact I have a daughter about your age." To which quick thinking grandson immediately replied "Will she marry me?"

That's a funny story. Kids are great, especially grand kids. I have one grand daughter.
