All About Pocket Knives

Hi Gang,

My book is very near completed. I was wondering what my fellow knife collectors would rather purchase if given a choice. so here is the poll.

The paperback copies will be $13.95

The hardback copies will be $23.95

Postage of course will be on top of that price.

If you were interested in a book, "NOT just this one" what would you perfer????

paperback suits me fine.

paperback is alright with me. i'll buy a hardcover later on to putt away.

I always buy hardback when I can. They last longer, are more durable and they look better. Just my opinion of coarse.

They aren't as easy to carry around at knife shows though!

I prefer to buy hardback books. Does that price include an autograph?

I personally would like the option to purchase both but since the question was to make a choice I would rather spend a dollar or two more and get the hardback. The paperbacks made these days seem to be made to fall apart as fast as possible and I would rather have your historical work and reference in a long lasting hardback.

My vote was for hardback just because I "know" the author. Generally, if it's a price guide I think a paperback is fine since you will likely get future editions.

I prefer Hardback, when ever I buy a book because I do alot of

reading, sometimes a book a week and the Hardbacks have larger print

and they are much easier on these old eyes of mine!

hardback for me, can't wait for a copy

Will it be large paper back or small? I like the large paper back with big print. The small paper back could be taken to the doctor's office and read while waiting for the appointment. I tend to read more paper backs than the hard backs. Either way or both ways would be great tho.

At such a reasonable price I think I prefer the hardback for durability.
If it is a reference work that someone is referring to often, the hardback is preferable, IMO. Just think of all the dogeared copies of BRL4 you see.

I can't wait to get a copy.

Like most of the others, I'd like an autographed hard cover and a paperback for a user.

the book will be approximately 6 X 9, both paper and hardcover. That's just the way that this company does it. if you can judge a book by its cover, then everyone will love it. Look at my avatar and it will give you a good idea as to what I am speaking of. the price guide is small as it relates to knives and razors that I have photo's of and not all Tidioute knives. That will be future project I am sure. It will give you a general idea as to value though. What I am saying is that a particular pattern with veriables will not be listed like with CASE knives. It will include a copy of the Union Cutlery Catalog from 1912 - 1924. 1912 was the last year in Tidioute. This alone is a great tool. I thought it odd that Union used the pattern # 6250 for a Sunfish, just like CASE HUMMMMM!!!!!! wonder why. I hope to have more infomation soon.

As for autographed copies. Anything for my friends here. I even acknowledge you guys in the book at the beginning. I appreciate all of your support during this LONG process. Keep and eye out and keep posting to the poll. I want to see what everyone would rather have.
