All About Pocket Knives

I have had this knife for quite some time as it was my grandpas. I actually cleaned it up and intended on carrying it but i dont know if i want to now. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Year? Pattern? Value? (Which is irrelevant as i wont ever sell it, just curious)

What a special knife! I believe I would carry that one on special occasions only, maybe Grandpa's birthday or Christmas mornin'!
If I'm seein' the number on the blade, it's a 67 pattern, which is called a Premium Stock Knife. It should be 3 7/8" closed. Somebody else will have to identify the tang stamp as to the date, there's is long lines and short lines and about all I know is old Camillus knives are great!

Picture is a Camillus #67 from the 1957 catalog. Since your knife has Delrin® handles, it was probably made in the 1970s. I'm guessing it would sell on eBay for somewhere between $10 and $30. As you said, sentimental value is where it's value actually is.

Its unlikely he will ever post but hopefully he will. I am sure he will use this site to learn as much as he can though. Only time will tell!

.....that looks like the "long-line" stamp-1960-1976???....... ................

It is the long line stamp and general wisdom says 1960-1976 but for several reasons, I don't accept those years as gospel.

For example, his knife has Delrin® handles which long time Camillus employee Wallace Rockwell says Tom Williams (another long time Camillus employee) told him Camillus did not start using until 1969 or 1970. Add to that, on most of the Delrin® (just about the only handle material they were using at that time and forward) knives they stopped pinning the handles and started using the post system in about 1976. Those little details date this knife to about 1969 or so to 1976 or so.

I think you are in the ballpark on the date of his knife Jerry.
Being in the ballpark is about as good as it gets when dating Camillus.

In the last post on this page of this link are notes I posted from an interview with Tom Williams in 2010.
In the last section of the interview entitled: Tips on Dating Camillus Knives Tom discussed the pin, prong and post methods of attaching handles.
I thought it might be on interest to the OP.
