They did the same thing for me. I needed pivot hardware for my Bali-Song so the sent 3 different sizes no questions asked. The good companies are on top for a reason!!

here is my 800fresh back from Benchmade whatch ya think :xI thought they had experienced cutlers being employed they said due to the custom handles she was out of warranty in there defence they kinda made her USABLE and they said she is worth a lot of money ::hmm::let's see,blade not centered,clip screws don't match,could not cut screws flush,the one that really got me is the third picture they could not make up a back spacer I'm going to cool down now.

Have you been back in touch with the Benchmade folks since you got your knife back ?

I think I'd be inclined to discuss my disappointment with them.
