All About Pocket Knives

Picked this up this morning at the local flea market. Tang stamp on both blades but can only make out the "cutlery" part. No other markings.

Can you post a closeup of the tang?

I can't, too faint. I am looking at it with a loupe and it looks like the middle letters could be "PP" or "RR" and it looks like it might start with a "T"?

Could be J.R. Torrey;they are primarily known for straight razors but they did offer pocket knives. I think a few have been posted here.

Me too! Price was right so I wasn't worried about who made it. Just curious at this point. Great little knife!

I'm not qualified to guess, but it is what I would refer to as a "Great find". Congrats. Enjoy it.

What are the X's on the bolsters? Previous owners handy work?
