For that kind of money I could get a custom knife built to my specifications.
I never did get why limited editions seem to cost an arm and a leg. Unless the knife is made from high-end materials like gold or precious gems, what difference does it make if they build 600 or 6,000?

But - But. It's a Collector's Edition and it has hand-ground and satin polished CPM-S35VN Steel blades. Doesn't that count for something?

Mmm that's purty! And is the right size too! And is a stockman which makes it most holy indeed.
But it's way too high. I could buy a decent user Case XX 6375 for that kind of money.

Weeeeeellllllllll you guys must not have read this under that fantabulous ka nife.
"We are proud to announce what we feel is destined to be the world's premiere production Stockman Knife - our Collector's Edition 2015 Ranch Boss!"
That sentence alone is worth 3 hunnerd dollas.

Yea but you never have to sharpen it....
This upgrade to superior high-end materials ensures cutting capabilities rarely seen in even the most expensive custom knives, and the edge on this truly beautiful traditionally styled working man's knife has the potential to last a lifetime without re-sharpening!
My collection knives are the same way since they are never carried or used. Will never need to be sharpened.
Yes, good looking knife but as Wade said, I could get a nice CASE XX era stockman that I am confident would out do and outlast that knife.
Yes Josh. I think they are smoking crack.

My bet is it's a couple of old hippies, stoned on weed, thinking up a way to get rich. If they were smoking crack you could buy it off them for $5
