At a recent visit to my Grandmas house, she told me she ran across some knives of my Grandpas. There was this one, a 4 blade Calimus with a bone handle, and a pearl type 2 blade knife and I seen no Identification on it at all.

Here arre the pictures of the John Primble Knife. I am sure it isn't worth much but would like to get some information about the knife since it was my Grandpas.

I have another picture thats shows the # 711 on the opposite side of the blade where it says John Primble.

welcome bulldogs. that is a nice old congress and even bettet since it was your grandpas. it was made for the belnap hardware co. makers were camillus, utica, schrade and possibly more. c1947-1985. they were in business from the late 1860s till 1985.

found a model 711 in jim parker's knife collector's encyclopedia and he values one in mint condition at $500. so i would think yours has some value.

Thanks for the information. I am going to take pictures of the other knives and post them later.
