I've been a real fan of the razor trappers and the Remington "Bullet" knives for a while, especially the Jumbo and Mini-Trappers.... now I find myself suddenly drawn to Hawkbills and Electricians knives. What's with that? ::shrug:: There's something about the Hawkbill design that calls to me. Even the Electrician's knives....the single bladed ones with the long flat ended blade (older versions I assume) seem to have my number.

I'm thinking a collection of the old Hawkbills and the like would make one heck of a wall display if left basically in their original state....with only a mild "clean-up"....with all the patina of years gone by still intact. ::tu::

Man oh man....this knife collecting has got me by the gonads! ::mdm::

::tounge:: ::nod:: Oh,oh...You have got it bad my friend..The scary part is that in 6 months the thought will cross your mind on how nice those whittlers, congress, barlows, trappers etc. are... I still find myself falling in love with all the cutlery beauty's...

Good luck,

well Dewey, if you ever find yourself in need to dispose of some of those hawks you know where to find me :D . They are a great knife and I hope to make a large wall display of nothing but hawks someday. I want to wait until I get at least 50 though, I've got 22 or so now.
