All About Pocket Knives

Guys,
Here is a link and a photo of one currently offered on the bay. I don't recall Case having any patterns with a match striker pull. This knife can't be right? Ideas?

I've never seen a honest Case with a match striker pull, certainly not from the XX era. This question came up on anther thread a few weeks ago, but it was on a much newer knife, also a Case with match striker pull, for sale on eBay. Question asked at the time was "when did Case start making knives with match striker pull?" but no one ever answered it. IMHO these are not Case blades. If anyone knows otherwise please comment.

Looks like a real good knife to me right up the the curved tang on the master blade and then it all goes south. That curved line created by in the joint between blade and tang spells weld to me.

Notice the curve and the irregular wavy look of the metal on the tang right before the tang to blade junction?

Looks like the master blade was so worn or maybe even broke that someone welded in a new matchstriker blade to the XX tang. First bad knife I recall seeing from this eBay seller.

Surprised it doesn't have one of those all too familiar fake long pull Tested blades in it.

I agree, authentic XX green bone frame and handles, the two small blades are probably real. Main blade is either a total fake restamp of a non Case blade or a weld job as Wayne said.

Even without the match striker pull, the main blade looks wrong - blade grind is wrong and the blade looks like it may be stainless.

And as others have said, I have never seen an authentic Case pocket knife with a match striker pull.
