Man, another icon has passed, condolences to his family.
I don't think anyone wouldn't recognize his popular and often copied 110 pattern folding hunter. I was fortunate to pick up this skinning knife with Chuck and CJ's signature on the blade. Their Buckmaster fixed blade is another useful piece of skilled design and art. He is leaving some really big shoes to be filled.

The knife world is saddened by this news as Buck Knives has been an icon in the knife industry.
RIP Mr Buck. Your legacy will live on every time a father's son's eyes light up as he gives him his first Buck 110.

Many of you may already know this but Chuck Buck left this world late Friday night to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our loss is Heaven's gain and he will be missed greatly. Funeral arrangements are pending and I expect them to be made public sometime Monday. Please keep Lori, CJ, Heidi, Marilee, Joe and the rest of the Buck family in your prayers. Obviously, there are also many Buck Knives employees who are greatly saddened by Chuck's passing. He was loved by so many and a highly respected man. The entire cutlery world has lost an icon.
BCCI members, the March newsletter is at the printer. The June issue will primarily consist of tributes and remembrances of Chuck. I encourage you to email your thoughts, stories and remembrances to John (or me) for inclusion in that issue. We have lost a friend whose support was incalculable.

I just gave my 13 year old nephew his first 110 this last Christmas.
My uncle gave me my first 110 around the same age. 30+ years ago.
110's are a tradition around here.
Chuck will be missed! God Bless the Buck family

I never bought a Buck knife new,but I understand he had John 3:16 in the paperwork inside.That takes courage and commitment to your faith in the world we now live in.Prayers for his family.
