and i have been into them for a short while and you know how it is when yer into something.....
so here is a place to post pictures,show off a new one,discuss history and model variants and the like.

I personally have had several members help me along the way so far

No CO2, but a CO4 Executive. I don't know the details, but the material of construction should be about the same as the CO1.

My first Spyderco (still gots) was back in late 70s/early 80s.. Standard SS SE.. They have the pocket clip stamped out of the rear handle cover..

My latest is a Burgundy MeerKat.. Kool little knife.. This one, you slide the lh handle cover to un-lock the blade!! John

The knife shown is a Byrd Cara Cara 2 and for around 30.00 you would be very hard pressed to find a equally good knife IMO
I am carrying this over my Caly 3 which costs 100.00 more!

The Co-Pilot was designed as a 2″ bladed folding knife that could be taken on Airplanes prior to the full ban on bladed items on aircraft. The clip was also marketed as a possible money clip.

C13 PRO VENATOR

This knife was initially called the Pro-Hunter/Venator when introduced in 1991. It is based on the C03 Hunter model and was altered to have Kraton rubber inserts for extra grip. The C33 Pro-Grip which was based on this knife was eventually renamed to the C13BK Pro-Grip. This knife was discontinued in 2005, but as with many Spydercos, may make a re-appearance in the form of a Sprint Run.

That last one you posted is one that I have.Mine had the Kraton insert in the clip fall out in less than a year of carrying.I was going to try and get a replacement but the clip works better without it.

The Spyderco Kiwi is a different style of knife in comparison with most of the other Spyderco models in that it resembles a slipjoint folder in style and size, but adds a lockback. I feel kinda funny chiming in with only an orange Delica to contribute to the thread.


I guess I could add my cousin's C35SBK 'Q' KONA from 1998. I've shown it before but it's cute and kind of unique. He said he picked it up while on vacation in Hawaii.

Do some people really consider this a grail knife? You'll have to excuse my ignorance. When it comes to Spydercos I'm more of a user than a collector. Though oddly the khukri is one I haven't used. I received it in a blind trade but never carried it since the design (while cool-looking) seemed a bit awkward to me.
