8) Benchmade has a new line of knives called the Hunt Series, both fixed and folders. Besides G10 handles they come with wood handles similar to the Buck 110's material.

Stop it! You're stirring up the desire for a new fixed blade. ::facepalm::

I recently got a 15056 from Duluth Trading Post on a pretty nice discount, and it's everything I could want. The dymonwood handles have all the warmth of wood with the durability of a composite and the s30v steel is tried and true. The jimping is comfortable and in useful spots. The snap when it locks open is solid and instills 100% confidence, and the knife shuts with a resounding snap, too. I like smaller knives so the "small summit lake" works for me, but I expect its big brother to be just as nice.

Kudos to Benchmade.
