SHOGUN knife info

Anyone have any type of info on this knife?
It says SHOGUN on handle and Stainless steel Japan on blade.
A estimate on how much it is possibly worth and year it was manufactured.
I got this when my grandfather passed away he was in the U.S Navy durring world war 2 I'm sure is not worth much but I'm interested because I can not find any information or photographs online.
