I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what a set listed on e- bay might be worth(#6571557018). I'm not sure how much would be too much to pay for it. Can someone please help me out here. [/b]

HI and Welcome,
Although I am not an expert on Newer Case knives "yes in this hobby 1980 is newer and no I am not an expert on much of anything" BUTTTTTT. I looked this over for you and feel comfortable saying that the opening bid is reasonable, but I personally would go much higher. It is one of those "how bad do I have to have it things" Those are great knives and good paterns to collect. The complete set adds even more value. Others may have more information that me I'm sure.

This warning is for PA Knives, PA in the previous post you called KnifeKid, Knifeboy, If I were you I wouldn't do that again the last time I saw Perry at the May show he looked about 6'9 265 and was bout 2 ax handles wide at the shoulders, he'll break you like a popsickle stick, with that said I was just kidding, I've had the pleasure to meet a talk with Perry and his wife they are super nice people, he is a very very knowledgeable person and I look forward to his input on this forum.

my apology to all. Never meant to use the wrong name, but I kinda doubt the popsickle stick comment though. I am 6' 6" and 350 pounds of Oil field trash.

Guess you better not make any one of us mad, but then again knife nuts are always great poeple and that just won't happen. Welcome to all of you and we look forward to learning more from each and everyone one of you.
This is a great bunch people.
