on a quest for info on a conquest

picked this little guy up, the nail braking springs and half stops won me over. Looks like a pre WWII imperial or similar. marked in a diamond (much like shaplieghs hardware) conquest brand, YALE . So, what say ye?
On second thought, maybe this should have went in knife lore?

yale cutlery co., mfcr? meriden, ct., 1883-? was part of son bros. co. out of san francisco, 1869-1919. wholesaler and importer.

lol, here's some "genuine sandbar stag". It even says so on the box I guess they do exist afterall!
