Legit Walden?

Is this pretty knife a legitimate Walden muskrat or some kind of newer commemorative? Blades look very polished. What's that shield?--Does it say Everlastingly Sharp like the blade?

I believe those are made by Taylor Cutlery..

I believe that is one of the modern reproductions. Most likely made by Bear and Son (note the use of only the backspring pin), for Taylor LLC.

Boy,they sure are bringing back a lot of those old name brands ..I think its kinda cool but kinda sucks also!!

Seems like it puts a damper on the legit ones..

Yeah, I agree with the kinda sucks part. But I don't think it really puts much of a damper on the real ones. Even a Schrade newbie like me noticed that it probably isn't legit. It's a good-lookin' knife, but I don't get the Schrade Walden stamp. That part seems wrong to me.
