I AM FISHING FOR INFO. ON THE LOCATION OF THE NAIL PULL ON THE PRIMARY BLADE OF A CASE TESTED TRAPPER.

JUST AS I THOUGHT--THE FAMOUS KNIFE DESIGNER, YOUNG JIM PARKER, HAS A BLADE ON EBAY HE CLAIMS TO BE A TESTED TRAPPER--THE NAIL PULL IS LOCATED DIRECTLY OVER THE BLADE CURVE AND NOT TO THE FORWARD SIDE OF THE BEND. STAMP HAS BAD SPACING ALSO--DIDN'T THIS GUY ONCE OWN CASE KNIFE WORKS?????

Yea, unfinished alright and never touched in a CASE factory. The "unfinished" statement means the hack was not completed.
Never seen a long pull nick shape on a short pull in the CASE oldies. Blade shape is off. Pretty damn sure a "brushed or glazed" blade finish was not used back then, not until late 60s' or early 70s' as I recollect. Look at the link for the ebay listing. Look at the back of the tang, look ground down to anyone? Hell, look at the tang stamp, does the tang look ground and restamped regardless of the stamp spacing and integrity?

If that is not a full blown hack I will have to take a haitus from collecting but not carrying. My assumption is the seller fully knows it is a fake but for some, the almighty dollar speaks louder than integrity or honor. Embarrassing!

Parker's blade is a joke - Case NEVER made a 54 blade with that pull.
