All About Pocket Knives

Can anyone tell me if Camillus made an ebony handle, pinch bolster, flat bottom pruner?

If they did, it was before WWII.
I can't think of ever seeing a flat bottom Camillus hawkbill.
Now that I think about it I don't recall ever seeing a Camillus hawkbill with pinch bolsters either.
If they did make one, I'm sure it was a long time ago.

The only pinch bolstered hawkbills I have are Schrade Cut Co., Ulster and Walden Knife Company.
Schrade made some flat bottom hawkbill knives and my Walden also has a flat bottom.
I don't think I have any hawkbill in my collection that has all 3: flat bottom, pinch bolsters and Ebony handles.

Somebody must've made one, I would think. I just don't have one in my collection.

I would guess no. I collect hawkbills and have about 300, but none like you describe. If they did it would be a rare one. I would be looking closely at the knife to see if all it's parts were made at the same time. Dave

Thanx guy's. I picked up a walden co op the other day and have been on a hawkbill kick now. I think its cocobolo wood which works. If camillus didn't make this style they are about the only one. I missed a schrade cut co last night cause I fell asleep. Went for under $40. Oh well. Going to the NY knife show Friday. Might buy a schrade walden if the price is right.
