154OT Custom Restoration

About a year ago I had a customer who wanted a 154OT customized with stabilized cross grain Black Palm wood handles. Before I could find a suitable donor knife, he decided to go with a standard 154OT.
I had the Black Palm wood and a rather rusty old 154OT with oxidized Delrin handles and no sheath.
I did a little trading and got some Schrade sheaths that I use for the knife.
I put the Black Palm wood on for the handles and held them in place with mosaic pins. I used brass tubing to line the lanyard hole.
There's still a little pitting on the blade but it will make somebody a good user.
I just felt this old knife deserve to be put back into circulation.

Sorry, but I didn't get a before picture. I get excited when I start on a knife and usually forget to take before pictures.

Thank you gentlemen! I'm strictly a novice but thoroughly enjoying my recent entry into this hobby/obsession. I've spent my first few months in this hobby scouring my local flea market and over-paying for a few items on ebay. I'm slowly getting smarter and with the help of some reference books beginning to get a sense of where I want to go with my collecting.

I have to say I'm really intrigued by the almost infinite colors and patterns of celluloid handled knives, even though those items are probably considered second class citizens by you serious collectors. At any rate, thank you for the welcome.
