I have one of these on my wishlist, but I don't like this one. Here are some my reasons:
* Shield looks wrong (open C)
* SAB blade shape seems "stubby"
* Long-pull nick seems too wide
* Does not look like an equal-end frame (could be the photography angle)
I am very interested to hear other opinions.

To me the basic knife looks to be genuine (open C shield does not bother me).
However, the main blade has been aggressively reshaped. It may have started out as a spear, I do not thinks Case made that pattern with a master clip (maybe they did, I don't have my knife references handy).

The knife looks fine to me . The open "C" is made up of the "semi-straight" lines which was typical of many "tested" era shields . The master blade , however , appears to have been shortened , although I believe that it was originally a clip blade . The angled pic makes it difficult to determine if the blade is short and if the knife is an equal end .

Knife looks fine to me also with the exception of the re-profiled blades. Master look way short and stubby as pointed out. I do think it could be an all original 6230 1/2 but would rate the condition as good at best based solely on blade condition. No picture provided with blades closed. If i was looking for a decent example this knife would not be it.
$250 OBO ????

Maybe I am incorrect but the knife is a 06230-1/2. Mainblade and secondary look used and or reprofiled as stated.
probably the pics but that sure as hell looks like a sleeveboard but I can't think of one that was made in that size/era.
Master is shaped like a damn XX "A blade". Shield is no worry at all as others have said. Look at the blank shield on my knife in the pic below. Not pocket worn but blank.
Here are 2 for comparison...
