Sometimes you just fall into things. Today was one of those. I had to go to a neighboring city to repair some striping on a car for one of my regular customers and found out he had two to do!Good deal.
On my way home I stop at the local painter's supply store to get some tape and the guy behind the counter presents me with a quart of metallic gold striping paint no charge!About $50 worth of paint.No reason given.
My final stop before getting home was a yard sale.I run into one of the people who run an antique shop I frequent and she mentions something about me collecting knives. The guy running the sale mentions he has a couple knives he bought about 25 years ago and goes in the house to look for them.
He comes out and says he couldn't find them but would I be interested in this and produces a carved pearl straight razor in the original box! Wound up buying it for $20. I don't know if this one has ever been used it is in that nice a shape.
As they say:Some days are diamonds.........and some ain't! No zircons here!
