Remington question

I just picked this knife up on eBay. I generally stay away from older case and Remington knives as I have very little knowledge of them and they seem to be the two most faked. I collect this pattern and needed a Remington to go with my collection. The pattern number is R2043. I did a google search on the numbers and the only one I could find was an equal end jack. The blades and the bolsters show about the same amount of wearer and there is no pin showing through. I figure if it's not right it's a good chance to learn something. Any help is appreciated.

Knife is listed in Stewart and Ritchie's book and shown as a regular bare headed jack without a shield. It is listed as being 3 1/8" closed.

As stated by knife-nut, the knife looks fine.

Thanks jbug. I can see now why the old rems have such a following. It's a really solid knife.
