Sellers Description:
original early or pre wwii u.s. army paratrooper schrade m2 jump knife in good used vintage condition as is as found in need of restoration to the side plates. this is the early first model type 1 without the lanyard ring and has the clear plastic side plates, the later type in wwii had the lanyard ring with bone side plates. its used and a little bit rough but its real, rare, and was there. THIS KNIFE IS NOT A SWITCHBLADE, BUTTERFLY KNIFE, OR GRAVITY KNIFE. ACCORDING TO EBAY'S FIREARM'S, WEAPONS, & KNIFE POLICY THATS RIGHT EBAY YOU WROTE IT THIS KNIFE IS ALLOWED ON-LINE HERE. THIS KNIFE IS A SPRING LOADED ASSIST KNIFE AND IT HAS A MANUAL MOVEMENT STUD REQUIRED TO OPEN THE KNIFE BLADE. IT POPS THE BLADE OPEN (LOOSE) THEN YOU HAVE TO GRAB THE BLADE MANUALLY TO OPEN ALL THE WAY LIKE A REGULAR JACKKNIFE.

Atleast you can see the pins so you can dis-assemble it to put a new spring in it.

Very interesting Wiseguy. That auction ended with the $200,000.00 start bid. Probably the drugs wore off because it is on auction again with current bid of $20.50.

That is one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time !! You are so right, when are they going to stop milking that one and let the poor guy rest in peace. I don't know who he was, but with all respect, I could find nothing exceptional about any of his knives or other empty boxes they were trying to sell.
