UP for auction here on AAPK with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Bid high and hard please.

This beautiful set was donated by Bob aka member Elvis.

CASE XX 1987' "CASE TESTED XX Commemorative Set". Set contains a CASE XX USA 1987' Red Bone R6111-1/2 SS and a CASE XX USA 1987' Green Bone G6111-1/2 SS, both serialize with #2021. Basically these are Cheetahs wthout the swing guards. Nice long pull and "CASE TESTED XX" etch. The display box is not pristine but is in excellent shape and certainly not coming apart. A few minor imperfections only. The display box cutouts allow the knives to be stored at half stop position so no need to worry about weakened backsprings from half stop storage in the box. Beautiful Bone, great snap. Near mint plus knives in my opinion. Not sure how many sets were made.

Please bid high as you all have my word that every penny will go to the WWP. I am a man of my word if nothing else.

Sorry, I do not do PayPal, so cash, check or Postal Money Order will the required form of payment. If you absolutely have to do PayPal, I will try to work something out with a buddy that has it but no guarantees so please PM me if that is condition on bidding or not. You can also make a check out to "Wounded Warrior Project" and send it to me if you prefer that route. This may even qualify for a tax deduction but you would need to consult your tax preparer to be sure.

You're quite welcome Jerry. Between these knives and the ones I customized to be auctioned at the Case Reunion, it will bring my personal donations for the WWP to over $2000 since August. With no receipts available I doubt I'll be able to claim anything on my taxes, but that was never my motivation to start with. It's all about those who have helped us through their service to our country which is a debt that can never be repaid.

Well said my friend. That is something to be proud of. You raised some serious cash to help our Warriors out. As far as tax write off goes, I could give a rats behind about that for myself personally. I am not going there nor was that my original intent either. I do however post in the auctions that the winner may have a possibilty of a donation write off, consult your tax preparer, because it may very well be. Every payment I have recieved thus far has been a check made out directly to WWP which I just forward to WWP. This effort is all about helping our Warriors that need us. I can't personally turn my back on them knowing they need us.

I personally cannot wrap my head around these men and women having fought bravely for your country, missing limbs or mental faculities, our government turning their back on them and having to worry about paying the bills on top of it all.

Giving up (or not buying additional) 20 or more knives doesn't phase me abit when I think of what I just stated in the previous paragraph. In fact, I am honored to do it. Most of the knives I am personally donating are from my Father's collection, God rest his soul. I think he would be proud of where they are going and for the WWP cause.

I hope this effort keeps going and gains momentum as they really need our help.

Thanks to you and all the other members whom have donated or bid on the auctions. I am proud to associate with such fine and generous people.

Well said! Actually, I'll be sending a money order since all knife activities are kept separate from the household account and I didn't want checks for the knife account, because up till now everything has been electronic. This is the first time ever that I've needed a check for that account. I think I'll spend a $ on the money order rather than order them after all these years..... Keep up the good fight!
