Military Clasp knife

I did one of these some time back for a customer. This time, I just wanted to make one for the heck of it.
Here's what it looked like before...
And here's the after...
I decided to put NS bolsters on it for a different look. I used micarta for the covers and SS pins for strength, which I also left proud on the bolsters due to the stress the blades put on the frame. The knife is a beast.

What a makeover! I'd have never guessed that to be the same knife as in the before picture. Glenn you do some amazing work.

Who'da thunk that big beauty was hiding in there. I really like what you did with her and the handles are just right for the job.

Thanks everyone, it was a labor of love. I've got the divot in my finger to prove it, LOL.
It was a fun project, but took me forever to get around to doing it.

Wow, thats truly something else! These knives show up here regularly but I would never have thought that they would transform into somthing so nice!
