All About Pocket Knives

Hello,
I have 2 Winchester Knives I am trying to get some info on(pictures attached). Model #W18 29105 1/2 Rifle Shield Burnt Orange Bone, the other is WR27010 Rifle Shield in Smooth Black Bone maybe Buffalo Horn. It has #0260 stamped on the bolster,which I think indicates a limited run. I don't know Winchester's numbering system and would like to know when they were made and their value.

probably made by queen for bluegrass.

The Trapper was made in the 90's,as far as value,I use ebay for a value guide..Hope this helps.

I was told at a recent knife show that Bluegrass Cutlery made knives at their own factory in Manchester Ohio. I am curious because I have heard that Queen made knives for Bluegrass Cutlery. Does anyone know for sure?

Hi Tom

I have always heard that Queen did indeed make knives for Blue Grass Cutlery and that Blue Grass never had the facility's to make a knife. I have also heard BG will evade the question when asked, which in my opinion is rather crazy since Queen has a stellar reputation.

Thanks Sunburst, So I guess it is business as usual, we can't get confirmation. I don't live too far away so I guess I could go up there and see but I like you don't know why they would evade the question.

Tim Scott was at the Wilmington, Ohio show so I could have asked him direct but didn't think of it at the time. I think they are nice people from what I know and it really doesn't matter I would just like to know for my own information. How about it out there, anyone know for sure if Bluegrass Cutlery makes their own knives
