I picked up this Imperial at a junk store in Las Vegas last week. I have a lot of "cheap" Imperials but this is a quality pocketknife. Going by the tang stamp in was manufactured between 1930-1936. The picture doesn't do it justice the handles are really cool celluloid.

Nice one! I have always thought that the older Imperials(solid bolster)were well on a par with many of the knives of the period and vastly undervalued(or maybe it was the other knives that were overvalued). In the past few years or so people have been realizing that and the availability has gone down as the prices have risen.
Even the shell handled Imperials;while not of the quality buildwise of other knives were still a bargain for the price and well up to doing their intended job.
