All About Pocket Knives

We recently came across multiple Boker collector's knives. It has been very difficult to find values for these knives. Does anyone have an suggestions?

The best advice I can give you is check eBay for sold Bokers that match or come real close to what you have. That's a pretty good thermometer for the market, because as the saying goes, they're only worth what someone is willing to pay. Good luck.

Edit: I guess I should have specified that to get to the sold listings you need to go into "Advanced Search". There I go assuming again.

Thanks Jerry. We have looked at ebay and found others with some of the same and some similar knives. Your reply hit my concerns on the head, the sellers were asking certain prices but how far off are they from actual value. Have scoured for resources but have found value guides priced at hundreds of dollars. Wow. These knives are from an estate and are in boxes with certificates. Not really looking to sell them would just like to know their worth. confusing. Thanks again!

Welcome to AAPK. Jerry's advice is spot on but from your reply I think you may have missed a key point. Limit your search on eBay for sold items, not what people are asking. That's the best resource I know of.

By the way, us collectors on here like knife porn, so post some pictures of the goodies you have acquired if you can.

Do an advanced search on ebay for "completed listings". That will give you real world prices.

And if you don't know how to do an "Advanced" search?


Look to the far right of the search field at the top of the ebay page and you will see the word advanced. It's kinda bland looking by comparison IMO but you can select it and another page will open that gives you the options of "completed listings" "sold " etc. Just type in your search info and select/check which ever way you want to search and go from there.
