Hello, new here, been watching for a while and finally joined. I just recently started collecting knives. I mostly have Case and been getting into GEC knives. Anyway, here are my Great Easterns, I have another of the Green bone and a #23 stag that are not pictured.

Hi Matt,
Great collection of GEC's. ::tu:: ::tu:: Is that single blade smooth white bone Tidioute a 2006 or a 2007 tang stamp. That's the first one I've seen and I like it a lot. It looks like a model 23, the 4 1/2 inch model, is that correct?

BTW ::welcome:: Welcome to AAPK! We are a serious bunch of knife addic, er-uh, knife collectors and we enjoy sharing photos of our passion. Thanks for sharing, we appreciate it. ::tu::

Hukk, it's a 73 scout, no date stamp but I assume an '07. I tried getting a better pic of it but the white bone keeps washing out the detail.

Wow! Impressive mkc! Thanks for sharing!

That white bone single blade...is that the new pattern? The BeaverTail or something like that?

I read (here) that they wouldn't be out for six weeks.

Very cool. Very cool.

marcinek, the single blade Tidioutte is the same as a regular #73 scout just one blade. The "beavertail" model from what I was told is the same single blade but the spey blade only. I don't know which name brand it will be yet, maybe all three.

Thanks for the info mkc.

I'm certainly looking forward to any and all new GEC patterns and materials.
