I brought this topic back from the dead because it is the only information I could find on this particular pocket knife. It came in a group of pocket knives that I purchased, but not for this pocket knife. It is an ATLAS, 2 blades, 3" closed, single tang stamp, bare-head jack style pocket knife. All of the ATLAS pocket knives that I could find on-line, had a tang stamp that read ATLAS (over) JAPAN. Mine just says ATLAS. Was it made in Japan? I suppose that JAPAN could have been ground off. But, I can not see any evidence of that. What years would be involved? 1960's? Pre 1960's? Post 1960's? I cleaned it up a bit, took some pictures and here it is.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

***** EDIT *****
I had this pocket knife posted under a different topic or thread.
The post has since been removed, by me, due to an inaccurate description (I called it a "Barlow"style).
I removed "Barlow" style from this description also.

Here are the responses from that post.
1. "Skip, Only ATLAS I know of was Atlas Works, a J.Russell product from the 1880's. That one doesn't appear to be one??? Good Luck. J.O'."

2. "Goins list the following.
"Atlas Cutlery Co. Bradford PA. c. 1961-1965. This firm was originally in California. They were importers of cutlery made in Japan. The firm moved to Bradford PA in 1961."
By the way this knife is not a Barlow."

3. "That particular knife is not a barlow. Better described as a bare - head jack.
A barlow has a longer bolster, near 1/3 the length of the knife .. .. .."

I have never seen jigging like that before. I like it. It is very eye-catching.

That is a very unique styled handle with the groves running longways, I don't' believe I've ever seen that before.
I like it... ::tu::
