All About Pocket Knives

Was Rogers bone dyed in many colors? I have a few knives that I think are handled with Rogers bone, but I haven't studied on it much. Is it shown in any of the knife books? If you have some rogers could you post them?

Now here is Early Rogers bone on a tested knife. Late Rogers is also very beautiful but I haven't owned one of those in several years.

Those are some great looking pictures of Early Rogers...I really love that Trapper! Here's a picture of Late Rogers...

That is a very beautiful example of late red Rogers bone Perry. I love it. I have seen that muskrat on your web site before, and had it in mind when I was posting early Rogers in the above post. I was hoping you still had it to post it. Dog gone, that thing is purty!!!...By the way thanks for the compliment on the trapper.

Thanks for the response to my question on Rogers Bone. I really liked the knives the tested muskrat is unreal. All of the help has me wondering, did most of the old companys use Rogers Bone? I went and looked at some of my stuff and it seems that I have several knives with Rogers on them. The older Rogers is easier for me to identify, I'am still having trouble with this some. I am not new to knives at all just never have had a handle on Rogers Bone. Pictured is a Remington muskrat round bolsters some salesman ink on back of blade,the bone looks like some shown is it Rogers? Couple clicks to see jigging.

Here is some rogers bone on a circle c 62028 1/2. If you look underneath the pin on the right side you can see where the cutler missed when spinning the pin. In you fellas opinion... does that take away from the value?
