All About Pocket Knives

Here we go again with one of these bogus case Tested whittlers. Same ugly pseudo Case green bone.

Already at $112, about $100 more than it's worth. Seller does acknowledge the knife may be rebladed but that is wishful thinking. There is nothing Case tested about this knife.

Several knives with this "corncob" jigging pattern have been listed on eBay recently, represented as "Case Tested". Unfortunately I can't recall whether they were from this seller or others.

The seller gives quite a dissertation on this knife extolling its manifest great qualities. I guess the old saying, "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance baffle them with bullsh*t" applies. A more succinct (not to mention honest) description would simply be, "Piece of sh*t".

I've only seen good knives from this seller before, I hope he's not branching out into Myrtlefake territory.

Well I did a little digging and found what looks like the same knife from the same seller on eBay last month. That auction closed April 18th. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unusual-Vintage ... a#ht_0wt_0.

So either that listing was a no pay and re-listed, or this same seller has has more than one Case Tested 6380 in near mint condition? What are the odds of that?

It's the same knife. If you carefully study the jigging you can see that. Look at the fifth row of jigging from the left end of the knife (Mark side), now look at the third fourth and fifth jigs down, if you'll notice the fourth jig is only half a jig sandwiched in between the third and fifth. There are other anomalies as well, that's just a relatively easy one to describe.
