Got this Finnish puuko this weekend for $5.Not in the greatest of shape but it is larger than any puuko I have. The pommel is missing(possibly a horsehead) and it has no sheath(came in a Schrade Old Timer Honesteel sheath in excellent condition which is probably worth more than $5).Would love to know how they engraved the maker's name inside the fuller that is only an eighth of an inch wide. Still have to re-point it but it sharpened up really good.

I can't read the letters due to the style and even with a magnifying glass they don't make sense to me. Just about has to be the maker's name ::shrug:: . Pretty sure though the bottom line says, Made in Finland. Here's a picture of one that is similar and I can't make heads or tails of the letters. Seems like member Vikindog? knows a lot about these knives, maybe he will comment. Does your knife have a tang stamp also?

Maybe Vikingdog will be around shortly. He is very deep into the Puukkos and is very familiar with them.
