I just found out about this site from a friend the other day. Finally got around to registering here.

Just wanted to say hey and that I've moved it to my favorites to check in now and then.

Have looked around and it looks pretty complete. Nice forums guys.

Fear ??? No need to fear any thing here.

One of the best ways to learn here is to read and ask.

Welcome. We all want to see some of your knives.
The more you come the more fun you will have here.
There is a forum (or tab) to introduce your self, and tell us more about your self.

I primarily like and use folders. I don't always know which one I'll carry from one day to the next. Many times I'm carrying one I've modified for a customer or something to test it and make sure I didn't miss something rebuilding it you know.

Anyway, mostly I prefer to carry and use one hand opening lockbacks or frame locks with pocket clips but I carry slip joints on occasion and like my Ray Kirk Scagel Repro in forged 52100 pretty much better than anything else I have currently. Second would be another little Scagel repro by Northwoods done up for me by Dirk (Oupa) a good while back in some of Scagel's personal lignum wood.

I'll probably be at home in the production mod forum here. I already know most of the guys there I think.
