One of my favourite patterns was in the mail a few days ago. Unfortunately the mark side handle had a few pin-cracks (it was fixed before by someone near the bolsters) and was starting to buckle too. I fixed it with thin super-glue, sanded and polished it. Well, did I say that I love those big Barlows?

Great knife Frank. I've got the regular sized barlow from that same maker. It is quite a well constructed knife. You did an excellent job on the handle.

Thank you Phil! There wasn´t much to do apart from flooding then warped and cracked handle with super glue and a bit of sanding an polishing.

I found this about Bower:

F. A. Bower was an import company located in Jacksonville, FL, in the 1950's. The company imported knives from Germany and Japan.
