Small western knife

Can anyone id this western knife. I have found so many of them but they are all bigger this blade is marked WESTERN
BOULDER,COLO
PAT NO. 1967479
opposite MADE IN
U.S.A
The blade is 3"
Overall is 6 5/8"

About all I can add is this type of knife (size and pattern) is usually call a " bird and trout" knife. Looks like a good one!

Your knife appears in the 1950 catalog (and later) as the L-28 (leather handle 28). I have seen these with at least 3 distinctly different blade grinds over a 30 period.

I get most of my WESTERN info from a copy of this book. They usually go for $100 or more. There was only one printing, many moons ago. It is an EXCELLENT book.
