A New Pattern, To Me Anyway

This four blade Robeson congress pattern knife sold for $29.00 on Ebay recently. I didn't get to bid on it.

It's pattern number is 642386. I have no recollection of having ever seen such a knife.

The pattern number denotes bone handles, but this knfe has either ebony or possibly black composition.

They look original to the knife.

It's a pretty pattern with those pinched bolsters, nail reliefs, etc.

Blades are pretty worn, but I'd bet this was a beautiful knife when new.

Seller did not state its length, but I'd suspect about 3 1/2".

I know some of the pics are upside down, but I flipped them over for consistency's sake.

Yes, it was. I don't usually buy well used knives unless the pattern is rare or the tang mark one I don't have.

I was expecting the knife to sell for more than was willing to pay, but it went cheap. ::facepalm::

Regrets.
