HEY!

I attended an auction this weekend and bought a selection of knives. A pearled handled TERRIER Cutlery which I understand is a brand of Robeson. I also got a nice pearl Robeson #732105. If this is of interest to any of you, please contact me privately. I would like to learn more about them before going EBAY

Hello pa knives.

In checking Terrier Cutlery Co. out, it appears as though they were a business circa 1910-1916, who had Robeson make knives for them on contract. So, not technically a Robeson brand, I don't think, but contract knives. Goins' book mentions this, and that the knives are/or may be stamped Robeson on the smaller blades. Does this sound like yours?

No matter what, sounds like a nice find.

Bill

Edited to add "or may be" as clarification.

Poor choice of words on my part. You are right, it is a contract knife. Both blades are stamped Terrier Cutlery with a dog on the back side. No reference to Robeson. Pearl handles and very good condition. If you know anyone interested let me know. I will be listing it soon on ebay with some others it no one wants it.
