r1323 and r7423?

the book says the 1323 should have a long pull, not a nick pull
could it be a Camillus repo?
the other looks older and real Rem, tang model # is harder to read

Most of the pictures in that Remington knife book were copied from early editions of the Remington catalogs. Yours is a later ( mid to late 30's ) knife. Remington on occasion would switch from a long pull to nail nick . I believe your knife is 100% authentic pre -40 Remington. ::tu::

thanks Rem, that knife is in great shape
any idea on the other Rem , 3/1/8 in sleeve board bone pen? last 3 digits are clear 423, first two maybe R7
the R1323 is a 3 in dogleg or reverse dog leg pen excellent to near mint ?
I am still learning so your opinion is valued
