EC Cutlery Italy?

I have a knife with a tang stamp EC Cutlery over Italy. This knife has been in my family for well over 40 years, and I know nothing about it, other than as far back as I can remember it has been in my dads things, and I am 52.
It has Premium Stock Knife stamped in the master blade.
Can anyone tell me anything about this old knife? The handle is either a horn of some kind or a synthetic material like Delrin.

Are you sure it is EC? I have heard of
EIG Cutlery Italy mostly seen on switchblades but other pocket knives as well.
These were made for Saul Eig of EIG Cutlery Inc. located in Florida.
The handles of your knife are genuine horn.

This knife looks identical to the Gutmann Cutlery Italy import knives usually marked G.C. Cutlery Italy. Same handles, shield, blade configuration and "PREMIUM STOCK KNIFE" blade stamp. The handles are Water Buffalo horn. Edge was a Gutmann brand. The second letter may be a "G". They made these knives in a large 5" closed length. What is the closed length of this knife?

Thanks guys for the info. It is EIG Cutlery, not EC. That "I" is real hard to see. This knife measures 5" closed.
After looking closer I thought the scales may be real horn, but would have expected to see some shrinkage or cracks from real horn, after all of these years of neglect in its care. Just curious, is there any collector value? I will keep it in my collection either way, it has sentimental value.

You do see these knives for sale on eBay sporadically. I did a quick search of "sold" auctions but found nothing current. I think they are pretty cool knives just by virtue of size and the horn handles. Maybe $30 - $50 range for the condition of your's as a collector value guestimate.
Maybe knife7Knut has a better idea of value since he has a pretty righteous one.
